ovo je slika mojih opuntia fragilisa preko zime. malo se zguzvali al sad su se povratili i na ovom bas ima nekih 10ak novih kaktusa. nikakve zastite nije bilo na njima a bilo je snijega leda, kise... jedino sam na par dana bio postavio staklenke da ih kao zastitim, al za toplijih dana se voda pocela kondenzirat unutar tog prostora pa sam ih skinuo. a bilo je i temperatura ispod -20 na koji dan. cim pronadjem slike -zagubio sam ih negdi postavit cu. vjerujte, ni ja nisam vjerovao da je moguce uzgajat kaktuse kod nas na vani. samo da kazem da je ovaj prezimio u kupresu (bih) na nadmorskoj visini 1180 metara, sa ostrom planinskom klimom i prosjecnom godisnjom temperaturom od oko 5.7 stupnjeva. kad je tamo uspio prezimjeti mislim da je to garancija da svugdje u kontinentalnim dijelovima moze!
inace od svih zimootpornih kaktusa, barem tako pise na netu, ova vrsta je najotpornija! negdi sam vidio da su otporni do -50 stupnjeva. malo sam i skeptican prema toj brojci, al eto, tako pise.

Na sjeveru Švedske je jedan fragilis izdržao -60C tako da taj podatak od -50C drži vodu. Evo još slika Damirovih opuncija.

Osim Opuntija i Agava koje su još vrste bi mogle preživjeti vani...
Govorimo o Puli gdje temperatura po zimi se rijetko spusti ispod nule, kada se i spusti govorimo o max -5....
